Shooting headshots in Brisbane
The 2032 Olympics are rebuilding Brisbane's event infrastructure with $7.1 billion in new venues, and the corporate side is moving with it — Queen's Wharf opened in 2024 with two more luxury hotels landing by the end of 2026. Practically, that means a growing number of brand-new floors and foyers with excellent ambient light, and a lot of teams refreshing their staff imagery to match a new address.
Brisbane's subtropical light is the technical difference. Hard overhead sun most of the year and warm reflected bounce off river-facing glass will shift skin tones if a booth is left to ambient — so we run controlled lighting and reserve the outdoor river frames for the leadership set, where the look is deliberate rather than accidental.

Transport & access
Airtrain runs every 15 minutes from Brisbane Airport to the CBD in 20 minutes. South Brisbane Station is the direct stop for BCEC and South Bank, and the free CityHopper ferry covers inner-city river stops — useful when a headshot day spans two offices across the river.
Peak season
March–May and August–October are the busiest corporate windows, with Ekka week and the winter conference season tightening availability. Olympic-driven construction also affects CBD dock access — worth checking early.
What we need on site
Three metres by three metres and a power point. In older CBD buildings the dock is tight, so we bring compact kit and can hand-carry if the goods lift is booked out.
